Apple has added refurbished versions of its latest smartwatches, the Apple Watch Series 8 and the Apple Watch SE 2, to its online store in the United States. This marks the first time that these two latest models have been offered at a discounted price.
The Apple Watch Series 8, which was released in September 2022, is available starting at $339 for the 41mm GPS model, representing a $60 discount from its original price. The 45mm GPS model is priced at $359, a $70 discount off the original price. The highest-end 45mm option, meanwhile, has a total discount of $80.
The Apple Watch SE 2, also released in September 2022, is available starting at $209 for the 40mm GPS model and $239 for the 44mm GPS model, with slightly higher prices for cellular connectivity. Both the Apple Watch Series 8 and the Apple Watch SE 2 models are available in both GPS only and GPS + Cellular configurations, but only in the aluminum models for now. There is no sign yet of a refurbished Apple Watch Ultra.
It is worth noting that the available stock of refurbished Apple Watches will fluctuate over time as Apple refreshes what is available, so customers may need to check back often if they are looking for a specific color or size.
All refurbished Apple Watch models go through a rigorous refurbishment process prior to being offered for sale. This process includes testing, replacing any defective parts, inspections, cleaning, and repackaging. Customers can rest assured that all refurbished products are covered by the same one-year warranty that is applicable to new products, which can be extended with AppleCare+.
