Apple Arcade, the tech giant’s subscription-based gaming platform, has just announced the release of 20 new games, including popular titles such as TMNT Splintered Fate, WHAT THE CAR?, Cityscapes: Sim Builder, and Temple Run+. This is the second-biggest expansion of Apple Arcade since the company released 30 games in 2021.
Apple has been known to release titles slowly, usually at a pace of one per week for the last two years, but with this latest release, subscribers are in for a treat. With over 200 games to choose from, Apple Arcade offers unlimited access to a variety of incredibly fun games, many of which are exclusive to the platform.
TMNT Splintered Fate, one of the new exclusive games, is a co-op roguelike adventure that follows the adventures of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. In this game, Splinter is missing and the brothers are under attack. Players must unravel the mysteries to discover the sinister hand behind the mayhem. Join Leonardo, Michelangelo, Donatello, and Raphael on this thrilling adventure, where their unique attacks combine with randomized power-ups for some gnarly fun.
Another popular title is WHAT THE CAR?, a hilarious racing adventure that features unconventional race cars with constantly changing features, such as legs, wings, and even the common cold. The game boasts wacky physics-based gameplay, making each race a fun adventure full of unexpected twists and turns.
Apple also highlighted that there have been over 50 new games added to the library in 2022, along with over 300 updates. The company also announced that updates for Jetpack Joyride 2, Angry Birds Reloaded, SpongeBob: Patty Pursuit, Taiko no Tatsujin Pop Tap Beat, LEGO Star Wars: Castaways, Asphalt 8: Airborne+, Cut the Rope Remastered, My Little Pony: Mane Merge, and many more will be launching soon.

To access the new games, subscribers can head to the App Store, click on Arcade, swipe to the very bottom, and select See All Games. While most of the new releases are showing up, some may take a bit longer to propagate.
