Apple Fitness+ has introduced a brand-new collection of workouts, and this time it’s all about the hit TV show, Ted Lasso. The collection includes four football (or soccer, as Apple would say) inspired workouts and two new episodes of Time to Walk with Hannah Waddingham and Brendan Hunt.
The workouts are designed to be fun and motivational, allowing Fitness+ users to “believe” just like the characters in the show. The lead Apple Fitness+ instructors even wear AFC Richmond jerseys for added inspiration.
The cycling workout, called “Cycling with Sherica”, is a 30-minute ride with 14 all-out intervals ranging from 25 seconds to just over a minute. The strength workout, “Strength with Kyle”, is a total-body workout with five soccer-themed moves that are done three times throughout a 20-minute workout. The HIIT workout, “HIIT with Bakari”, features squats, striders, and soccer-inspired moves for a high-intensity 20-minute workout. And the treadmill workout, “Treadmill with Emily”, is a 10-minute run with three progressive builds that work up to an all-out intensity.
In addition to the new workouts, Fitness+ users can also enjoy two new episodes of Time to Walk with Hannah Waddingham and Brendan Hunt. Hannah Waddingham, who won an Emmy for her role in Ted Lasso, talks about a crucial moment in her career that renewed her faith in her own abilities. Brendan Hunt, who co-created and stars in Ted Lasso, shares how he learned to use his creativity to process tough emotions as a child.
