Apple Music is set to take center stage at Super Bowl LVII as the official sponsor of the halftime show. The performance, which stars pop icon Rihanna, will take place on Sunday, February 12th at the State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, as the Kansas City Chiefs face off against the Philadelphia Eagles.
As part of the build-up to the game, Apple Music has released an exclusive interview with Rihanna in which she discusses her involvement in the halftime show. Fans can tune in to watch the interview on Apple Music’s TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Twitter, or on the NFL Network.
Along with the halftime show, Apple Music has also curated a selection of 32 playlists that showcase the top songs each NFL team listens to in the locker room, weight room, and on game day, in a feature called Rihanna’s Road to Halftime.
In addition to this, Apple Music Radio will be broadcasting a range of programming surrounding the event, including “Halftime Hype Radio“, a 10-part series reflecting on some of the most memorable Super Bowl halftime performances in history, and “Rihanna Revisited Radio“, an eight-part roundtable discussion exploring the cultural impact of the singer’s extensive catalog.
Live broadcasts from Super Bowl LVII, hosted by Zane Lowe, Ebro Darden, and Nadeska Alexis will also be available on Apple Music Radio, with a lineup of surprise guests set to make appearances. The coverage concludes on Monday, February 13th, with “Halftime Recap Radio” to celebrate the debut of Apple Music’s Super Bowl Halftime Show.
Finally, Apple Music has also introduced the Sing function, available on all compatible iPhone and iPad devices, and the new Apple TV 4K. This feature allows users to sing along to songs by Rihanna and other artists, perform duets, and more.
