This momentous event marked the worldwide release of not just the iPhone 15, but also its impressive counterparts – the iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro, and iPhone 15 Pro Max, alongside the much-anticipated Apple Watch Series 9 and the cutting-edge Apple Watch Ultra 2.
Additionally, the new Apple Watch SE and the second-generation AirPods Pro, now equipped with MagSafe Charging via USB-C, joined the spectacular lineup.
Across the globe, Apple enthusiasts thronged to Apple Stores, brimming with excitement to get their hands on the latest iPhone 15 range, along with the revolutionary Apple Watch Series 9 and the sleek Apple Watch Ultra 2.

As reported by CNBC, the day’s highlight unfolded at precisely 10:00 a.m., when Tim Cook, joined by Greg Joswiak, swung open the doors to thunderous applause. This surprise appearance echoed Cook’s past engagements, harking back to the iPhone 14 launch in 2022 and the iPhone 11 in 2019.
Joswiak’s infectious energy ignited the crowd, while Cook, with his trademark gesture, hands pressed together, exuded a sense of reverence. After a brief moment of suspense when Joswiak’s side of the Fifth Avenue entrance opened first, the dynamic duo emerged to greet the throngs of eager customers.
The line instantly gravitated towards Tim Cook, who took his time, engaging in conversations and happily posing for photographs, slowing down the queue in the best way possible.
While Cook and Joswiak were making waves in New York, Deirdre O’Brien, Head of Retail, held fort at the Apple Sydney store in Australia, as one of the pioneering Apple Stores to roll out the new iPhone.
