In a welcome move for iPhone users in the United Kingdom, Apple has not only dropped the prices of the latest iPhone 15 models compared to last year’s iPhone 14 but has also significantly reduced the cost of its iPhone Battery Servicing program for earlier models.
The most substantial savings come with the iPhone 14 series. Prior to the unveiling of the iPhone 15 on Tuesday, Apple charged £105 for iPhone 14 battery replacements. Now, they’re priced at £95, offering a generous £10 reduction.
For iPhone XR through iPhone 13 models, new batteries are now priced at £85, down from £89. Similarly, for iPhone SE through iPhone X models, the cost has been reduced to £65 from £69.
Here’s a breakdown of Apple’s new battery replacement charges through its iPhone Battery Servicing program:

Apart from the initial price of the iPhone 15 Pro Max, Apple’s latest models, including the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max, are now at least £100 cheaper across all configurations compared to the equivalent iPhone 14 Pro models at their launch last year. In an additional gesture to its customers, Apple has lowered the price of the AirPods Max, now retailing at £499 instead of £549. The second-generation AirPods Pro have also seen a price drop, going from £249 to £229.
In the US, the iPhone 15 Pro Max saw a modest price increase, rising by $100 to $1,199. This was due to Apple’s decision to discontinue the 128GB storage option, making 256GB the new minimum storage configuration. In several other markets, including Canada and India, Apple implemented more significant price adjustments.
