In an effort to further solidify its dominance in the retail market, Apple is gearing up to expand its already-impressive network of stores worldwide. According to a recent report from Bloomberg, the tech giant has ambitious plans to open additional stores in key regions such as the Asia-Pacific, Europe, the Middle East, the United States, and Canada within the next four years.
Sources indicate that Apple is currently engaged in discussions to establish a staggering 15 new Apple Stores in the Asia-Pacific region, along with five additional locations in the Middle East and Europe. Exciting news for shoppers in North America, as Apple plans to introduce four new retail stores in the United States and Canada.
However, it’s not just about new stores. Apple also intends to renovate and relocate several of its existing locations to enhance the customer experience. The report reveals that Apple has set its sights on revamping or relocating 13 stores in North America, nine in Europe, and six in Asia.
When tallied up, these plans amount to a whopping total of 53 stores either being newly established, relocated or remodeled within the next four years, according to the Bloomberg report.
Among the most noteworthy developments are the discussions and projects surrounding Apple’s expansion in India, with three new stores on the horizon. Furthermore, the company is making its highly anticipated debut in Malaysia with its first-ever outpost, while also upgrading its historic location in the Opera shopping area of Paris. Additionally, Apple enthusiasts can look forward to a brand-new store situated in the iconic Battersea Power Station in London, adjacent to Apple’s new local headquarters. Not stopping there, Apple has its sights set on another location in Miami and plans for a flagship store at Shanghai’s Jing’an Temple Plaza.

Across the pond, Apple has reportedly been eying prime locations in the United States for its upcoming stores. Notable mentions include Miami Worldcenter in Florida, set to open its doors in August 2024, Del Amo in Torrance, California, aiming for a March 2024 launch, and Downtown Detroit in Michigan, where plans are still in the works. Additionally, Apple is eyeing Bradley Fair in Wichita, Kansas, slated to debut in February 2025.
Despite the excitement surrounding these developments, it’s essential to approach these plans with caution. The report emphasizes that some of these ventures are still in the realm of “internal projections or proposals,” and therefore subject to potential delays or cancellations. Nevertheless, many of the initiatives are already in the works, with Apple having reached lease agreements with landowners.
