Apple TV+ celebrates its first major BAFTA wins, with dark comedy-drama Bad Sisters taking the lead with two awards. The show, which premiered on Apple TV+ in August 2022, took home the prestigious Best Drama Series award and the Best Supporting Actress award for Anne-Marie Duff’s compelling performance as Grace.
Bad Sisters follows the Garvey sisters as they mischievously plan the murder of Grace’s abusive husband, known as the ‘Prick.’ The show’s gripping storyline, coupled with the outstanding performances of its talented cast, has earned it critical acclaim and a dedicated fan base.
The series was written by Sharon Horgan, who also stars as one of the sisters, alongside Eve Hewson, Sarah Greene, and Eva Birthistle.
