Apple is set to premiere its latest sports documentary on Apple TV+ this March, and it promises to be a captivating look into the lives of aspiring professional wrestlers. “Monster Factory” is a pro wrestling docuseries that follows a group of “misfit dreamers” at a wrestling school in New Jersey, as they work with their coach to join the ranks of professional wrestlers.
The series features a cast of colorful characters, including Danny Cage, Twitch, Bobby Buffet, Gabby Ortiz, and Goldy. Each wrestler has a unique backstory, with Goldy, for example, being the pretty boy who uses wrestling as a way to control his panic attacks.
The six-episode series is produced by Vox Media Studios and Public Record, with Max Heckman, Jeremiah Zagar, Galen Summer, Chad Mumm, Mark W. Olsen, and Jeremy Yaches serving as executive producers. “Monster Factory” is set to debut on Friday, March 17, with all episodes available to stream on that day.
