The second season of this delightful show continues to follow the heartwarming journey of sisters Jill and Jacky as they nurture and care for the animals on their idyllic farm, nestled amidst picturesque lavender fields. Life as a young farmer is no easy task, but with each passing day, the sisters find themselves embarking on exciting adventures and discovering new opportunities for growth.
Returning to the farm, viewers can expect to witness Jill and Jacky’s ongoing efforts to foster the well-being of their beloved animal friends, including Quackety Duck Duck, Al Alpaca, and Pickle Pony. However, the real excitement lies in the anticipated hatching of a mysterious golden egg, which reveals two adorable baby dragons that the sisters take under their wing, learning to care for and cherish them.
In the production of “Lovely Little Farm,” Apple TV+ has teamed up with Dr. Gail Melson, a renowned changemaker and leading expert in the field of human-animal interaction. Dr. Melson, former professor emerita in the Department of Human Development and Family Studies at Purdue University, has lent her expertise to the show’s executive producers, basing the series on her extensive research on children’s relationships with animals, nature, and emerging technologies.
