Apple has announced the renewal of the Emmy Award-winning travel series “The Reluctant Traveler With Eugene Levy” for a second season on Apple TV+. The first season, which premiered on February 24, took audiences on a hilarious and adventurous journey with comic actor Eugene Levy to fascinating destinations worldwide.
The show’s host and executive producer, Eugene Levy, expressed excitement about the renewal, stating, “After experiencing season one, I’ve come to realize it’s true what they say about travel broadening the mind – and, I guess my mind could still take some broadening. So I’m packing my suitcase once again and looking forward – with a healthy dose of trepidation – to whatever adventures lie in store. Here’s to trying new things – well, within reason”.
In season one, Levy faced fears such as poisonous snakes, harrowing helicopter rides, and swimming in cold lakes, entertaining audiences with his hilarious commentary and reactions. The upcoming season promises to be an even more significant adventure, with Levy exploring Europe’s most intriguing destinations and uncovering hidden local gems.
The Reluctant Traveler With Eugene Levy is produced for Apple TV+ by Twofour and is executive produced by Levy and David Brindley. While no air date has been announced for the second season, it’s expected to be available later in 2023 or early 2024, given the recent premiere of the first season.
