Apple TV+ has just released a thrilling trailer for its upcoming post-apocalyptic science fiction series, “Silo”. The show is based on Hugh Howey’s best-selling series of novels, and it promises to be a gripping drama set in a dystopian future.
The story is set in a world where the earth’s surface is uninhabitable, and the last remaining humans live underground in a massive silo. This community of 10,000 people is protected from the toxic outside world, but their way of life is threatened when their sheriff breaks a crucial rule and residents begin to die.
The series follows engineer Juliette, played by Rebecca Ferguson known from films like “Dune” or “Mission: Impossible”, as she uncovers shocking secrets and exposes the truth about their home. Along the way, she teams up with Sims, the head of judicial security in the community, played by rapper and actor Common “The Chi”.
“Silo” features an all-star cast, including Harriet Walter known from “Succession”, Chinaza Uche known from “Dickinson”, Avi Nash known from “The Walking Dead”, David Oyelowo known from “Selma”, Rashida Jones known from “Parks and Recreation”, and Tim Robbins known from “Mystic River”.

Originally titled “Wool”, Apple signed on to produce the series in May of 2021, and it’s been hotly anticipated ever since. The trailer promises a thrilling and thought-provoking drama, with stunning visuals and a gripping storyline that’s sure to keep viewers on the edge of their seats.
With ten episodes in total, “Silo” is set to be one of Apple TV+’s most exciting releases of the year. The series is set to premiere on the streaming platform on May 5, 2023, and we can’t wait to see how it all unfolds.
