Apple has officially launched the highly anticipated MLS Season Pass for 2024, solidifying its decade-long exclusive streaming partnership with Major League Soccer. In a move to enhance user experience, this season introduces a new whip-around show catering to Spanish-speaking fans and debuts the split-screen Multiview feature on the iPad TV app.
The 2024 MLS season commences on February 21, offering a thrilling start with four complimentary matches during the opening weekend. Notably, soccer enthusiasts can catch Lionel Messi’s Inter Miami preseason matches starting today. The MLS Season Pass, providing access to all regular season matches, MLS Cup playoffs, All-Star matches, Campeones Cup, and select MLS Next tournaments, is priced at $99 for the season. Apple TV+ subscribers enjoy a discounted rate of $79, and a monthly subscription option is available at $14.99.
MLS Season Pass ensures global access, spanning over 100 countries, with no blackouts or regional restrictions. The content is available in both English and Spanish, and users can enjoy on-demand viewing. Excitingly, the 2024 season introduces new content, such as MLS 360 in Spanish, hosted by Tony Cherchi.
Building on last year’s success on Apple TV 4K, the Multiview feature is now extended to iPad devices. This functionality allows users to simultaneously watch up to four live streams of matches, enhancing the viewing experience.
For added value, MLS season ticket holders can redeem a complimentary MLS Season Pass through their club ticket account, shareable with up to six individuals via Family Sharing.
Viewers can enjoy MLS Season Pass through the Apple TV app on Apple devices, Amazon Fire Stick, Roku, PlayStation, Xbox, smart TVs, and more. While an official Android app is yet to be released, Android users can still access the content via a web browser at tv.apple.com.
