The film will initially have a limited release on October 6th, followed by a wider release on October 20th. Afterward, it will be available for global streaming on Apple TV+.
The movie is based on a true story that took place during the 1920s in the Osage Nation, Oklahoma. The period, known as the Reign of Terror, was marked by a series of murders. Apple’s announcement revealed that the film draws inspiration from the bestselling book by David Grann and is a collaboration between Scorsese and renowned screenwriter Eric Roth.

The gripping narrative follows a romantic relationship between the characters Ernest Burkhart (played by DiCaprio) and Mollie Kyle (portrayed by Lily Gladstone). In addition to DiCaprio and Kyle, “Killers of the Flower Moon” boasts an ensemble cast of celebrated actors, including Robert De Niro, Jesse Plemons, Brendan Fraser, and John Lithgow.
