AppleColor RGB Monitor Datasheet

In 1986, Apple introduced the AppleColor RGB Monitor as part of their Apple Monitor series. This 12-inch display was designed, manufactured, and sold by the company from 1986 to 1992.

The AppleColor RGB Monitor was first released on September 15, 1986, and quickly became a popular choice among Apple IIc, Apple IIc Plus, and Apple IIGS users. The monitor featured a resolution of 640 x 200 pixels and could display up to 80-column text and graphics with 4096 colors. It also featured a DB-15 connection, making it easy to connect to Apple computers of the time.

Despite its popularity, the AppleColor RGB Monitor was discontinued on December 1, 1992. Now, 37 years later, the monitor is a nostalgic reminder of Apple’s early days in the world of displays.

While the AppleColor RGB Monitor may no longer be available, it’s worth noting that Apple’s commitment to producing high-quality displays has not wavered.

Overall, the AppleColor RGB Monitor remains a significant part of Apple’s history and a reminder of the company’s early innovations in the world of displays.
