Apple fans may soon have something to look forward to, as the rumored 15.5-inch MacBook Air may be launching as early as April, according to Display Supply Chain Consultants analyst Ross Young. In a tweet, Young stated that panel production for the new machine has begun this month, leading him to expect an early April launch.
This isn’t the first time that a larger MacBook Air has been rumored. Last year, Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman predicted that Apple will unveil a larger MacBook Air in early 2023. Gurman suggested that the machine will be based on the current 13.6-inch MacBook Air and will feature a Liquid Retina display, 1080p HD camera, MagSafe charging, and more.
Young has previously commented on the new MacBook Air, predicting a spring 2023 launch in December. The addition of a 15.5-inch MacBook Air could provide Apple fans with a larger display option, and may prove popular among those who use their laptops for work or entertainment.
