According to a recent tweet by an anonymous leaker known as “ShrimpApplePro” on Twitter, the upcoming iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max will have even thinner bezels around the display, similar to those seen on the Apple Watch Series 7 and newer models.
This new rumor corroborates earlier reports of thinner bezels on the new iPhone models, and ShrimpApplePro claims to have additional sources confirming the news. However, it’s unclear if the bezels will be curved on all models, as the leaker’s other sources were not able to corroborate this aspect of the design.
ShrimpApplePro has an established track record of accurately leaking the hardware design of the Dynamic Island on the iPhone 14 Pro models. However, the thinner bezels rumor has yet to be confirmed by other reputable sources.
The leaker also previously claimed that at least one iPhone 15 model will feature a titanium frame and curved rear edges, which could be a design element that mirrors the curved bezels.
In addition to the thinner bezels, other features rumored for the iPhone 15 Pro models include Apple’s next-generation A17 Bionic chip, a faster USB-C port, Wi-Fi 6E, an increased 8 GB of RAM, and solid-state power and volume buttons that provide haptic feedback when pressed.
Apple is expected to announce the iPhone 15 series in September, as they usually do. While we wait for confirmation on the new design features, the anticipation for the latest iPhone continues to build.
