When it comes to Apple’s iPhone lineup, color options have always played a significant role in attracting consumers. Each year, the tech giant carefully selects special colors to promote its iPhones, and these exclusive shades often steal the spotlight among the available choices for that particular generation. In 2023, it appears Apple has set its sights on a captivating dark red hue and a refreshing green tone.
Back in February, an intriguing leak surfaced, indicating that Apple had plans to introduce a dark red color variant for the iPhone 15 Pro. Building upon this rumor, a renowned leaker on the Chinese microblogging platform Weibo recently reaffirmed the speculation, referring to the shade as “crimson.” This particular leaker has gained a reputation for accuracy, having previously correctly disclosed that the iPhone 14 Pro would be available in a stunning “deep purple” color option. Furthermore, they accurately reported on the redesigned camera flash cutout for that model, lending credibility to their current claim.
According to 9to5Mac, the dark red shade expected for the iPhone 15 Pro will possess a striking depth, although it may be slightly lighter in comparison to the purple color seen on the iPhone 14 Pro.
But the color revelations don’t stop there. The same leaker also sheds light on the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus color options. These models are anticipated to feature a green hue reminiscent of the shade used for the iPhone 12 and iPhone 11. If the speculation holds true, Apple enthusiasts can expect a delightful mint-like green color option.
It’s worth noting that previous reports surrounding the iPhone 15 hinted at including pink and light blue color variants, rather than green. However, it seems that Apple has altered its color strategy, favoring the vibrant green option instead.
