The Apple iPod touch 6th Generation is a widescreen iPod with a touch screen designed, manufactured, and sold by Apple from 2015 to 2019 as part of the iPod series. The iPod was introduced on July 15, 2015, and its price started at $199.
The sixth generation of iPod touch features a Dual-Core 1.1 GHz 64-bit Apple A8 processor with Quad-Core graphics, 1 GB of RAM, 4″ Retina multi-touch LCD Display, 16 GB / 32 GB / 64 GB or 128 GB of flash memory, 8.0 Mpix Rear camera with flash LED light, and 1.2 Mpix front camera for FaceTime HD video calls, built-in Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1, accelerometer, Lightning port, 3.5-mm headphone jack, and 40 hours of battery life. The new iPod touch was available in 6 colors: Space Gray, Gold, Silver, Pink, Blue, and (PRODUCT) RED.
This iPod was discontinued on May 28, 2019, and replaced by the iPod touch 7th Generation. Today iPod touch 6th Generation is 9 years old!
