Rumors about the next-generation Beats Studio Buds have been circulating for a while now, but a recent listing on Amazon has provided a closer look at the earbuds before they are officially announced. According to the listing, the Beats Studio Buds+ will be released on May 18 with a price tag of $169.95. Shortly after discovery, Amazon has removed the listing.
The most significant revelation from the Amazon listing is that the earbuds will be available in a new transparent design option, which looks strikingly similar to the Nothing Ear (2) earbuds. Additionally, the Studio Buds+ will come in Black and Ivory color options, similar to the original Studio Buds that were released in 2021.
One of the main selling points of the Studio Buds+ is their sporty design, which offers a more compact look than the AirPods Pro without the “stems” that drop below the ears. According to the listing, the Studio Buds+ will feature 3x larger microphones and air vent changes, resulting in up to 1.6x more active noise cancellation and up to 2x improved transparency mode compared to the original Studio Buds.

In terms of battery life, the Studio Buds+ will offer up to 36 hours of listening time with the included USB-C charging case, compared to 24 hours for the original Studio Buds. They will also come with an IPX4-rated water resistance rating, and XS, S, M, and L ear tip size options to fit a wider range of ears.
The earbuds will be compatible with both Apple and Android devices, and they will offer features such as one-touch pairing, automatic switching between devices, Hey Siri support, and Find My support.
