The excitement surrounding the upcoming iPhone 15 Pro continues to build, and a newly leaked image is adding fuel to the fire. The image, shared on Twitter by the reliable source Unknownz21, allegedly gives us our first real-world look at the iPhone 15 Pro’s USB-C port and the rumored new titanium design.
The leaked image shows the bottom of the device, with the USB-C port in clear view, alongside two exposed screws and speaker holes. This design is the same as the current iPhone 14 Pro, with the exception of the USB-C port in place of the traditional Lightning port. Interestingly, the USB-C port features a brushed effect, a unique signature of Apple products.
In addition to revealing the USB-C port, the leaked image also hints at the new titanium design for the iPhone 15 Pro. There have been reports that Apple will be transitioning from stainless steel to titanium for the new iPhone 15 Pro lineup this year.
The image shows a matte finish that is similar to the Apple Watch Ultra, a significant departure from the current glossy stainless steel. The titanium color closely matches that of the Apple Watch Ultra, lending credibility to these reports.
Earlier today published renders based on CAD designs from Apple’s supply chain, which offer a sneak peek at the new iPhone 15 Pro’s design. The renders reveal the phone’s slimmer bezels and curved edges, among other details.
