Prepare to witness the colossal clash as Apple TV+ brings the iconic Godzilla to your screens this November. In a groundbreaking live-action series, the King of Monsters is set to storm into viewers’ homes with a riveting ten-episode inaugural season.
After the initial announcement of the highly anticipated “Monarch: Legacy of Monsters” series, Apple TV+ has now revealed that the first duo of episodes will make their debut on Friday, November 17. Following this grand entrance, fans can anticipate a weekly dose of colossal action, culminating in the season finale on January 12, 2024.
Executive producers Matt Shakman, Tory Tunnell, and Joby Harold expressed their enthusiasm for the project, stating, “Over the last few years, we feel fortunate to have been able to work on a show that allowed us to embrace the scope and mythology of Legendary’s Monsterverse.”
They added, “Through 10 hours of character-driven television, our show explores the question of who the true monsters are in a world of coexistence with Titans, while at the same time taking us on a globetrotting adventure that will hopefully keep the audience entertained as they are emotionally engaged.”
Apple teases that the dramatic saga, spanning three generations, will unveil long-buried secrets, showcasing how epic, earth-shattering events can resonate through our lives.
“Monarch” boasts a stellar ensemble cast, featuring Kurt Russell, Wyatt Russell, Anna Sawai, Kiersey Clemons, Ren Watabe, Mari Yamamoto, Anders Holm, Joe Tippett, and Elisa Lasowski.

The series is helmed by Chris Black, renowned for his work on “Severance” and “Star Trek,” who also penned several of the ten episodes. Joining him are accomplished writers Andrew Colville, celebrated for his contributions to “Mad Men,” and Milla Bell-Hart, known for her work on “Truth Be Told.”
