The new iOS 16.3 update from Apple is set to bring a range of new features and upgrades to users, including the introduction of Security Keys for Apple ID, a new Black Unity Apple Watch watch face, and iPhone Lock Screen wallpaper. The update will also include changes to the Emergency SOS feature, making it more user-friendly and efficient.
The company announced the upcoming release in a press release on Wednesday, highlighting the new Black Unity Apple Watch Sport Loop, which will be available for purchase next week. The watch face and iPhone Lock Screen wallpaper, which have been designed to commemorate Black History Month, will require iOS 16.3 to function.
Apple has been beta testing iOS 16.3 since the end of last year, and while the update is expected to be relatively minor, it will bring significant changes to the way users interact with their devices.
One of the most notable changes is the introduction of Security Keys for Apple ID, which will strengthen the company’s two-factor authentication by requiring a hardware security key as one of the two factors.
