Apple TV+ has just announced a new, 10-episode half-hour comedy series that is sure to delight fans of both Woody Harrelson and Matthew McConaughey. The two stars, who previously co-starred in the hit HBO series True Detective, are set to reunite for this heartfelt odd couple love story. Created by Emmy Award winner David West Read, who will also serve as executive producer, the series will be produced for Apple TV+ by Skydance Television.
The untitled comedy will revolve around the strange and beautiful bond between McConaughey and Harrelson, whose friendship is put to the test when their combined families attempt to live together on McConaughey’s ranch in Texas. The series promises to be a touching and humorous exploration of the ups and downs of friendship, love, and family.
Harrelson and McConaughey will not only star in the series but will also serve as executive producers alongside Read. The team at Skydance Television, including David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, and Matt Thunell, will also serve as executive producers. Bill Bost and Jeremy Plager will round out the executive producing team.
