Uber is taking its in-car experience to the next level with the addition of CarPlay support to its Driver app, according to a report from TechCrunch.
The integration will allow drivers to access the Uber app from their vehicle’s dashboard display, offering a more convenient and streamlined experience for those who are constantly on the road.
The CarPlay version of the app will provide drivers with a map that highlights surge pricing areas, turn-by-turn navigation, the ability to view and accept trips, add rides to their queue, and even check their online or offline status.
This integration puts Uber on par with its competitor, Lyft, which already offers CarPlay support for its Driver app.

Uber has announced that the CarPlay integration will be available to all drivers in the US by the end of the month, providing a new level of convenience and ease of use for the millions of drivers who use the platform on a daily basis.
