Apple’s highly anticipated Beats Studio Pro headphones have recently made an appearance in FCC filings, hinting at an imminent launch date. While Apple has remained tight-lipped about these new headphones, they were first spotted within the macOS Ventura 13.4 update back in May, sparking speculation among eager enthusiasts.
Identified by the model number A2924 and the ID BeatsStudioPro1,1, the Beats Studio Pro is set to be an upgraded iteration of the popular Beats Studio3 over-ear headphones, which have been around for quite some time now. However, if the rumors hold true, Apple will introduce a range of internal enhancements to warrant the prestigious “Pro” designation.
Interestingly, software code discovered within the macOS update suggests that the Beats Studio Pro headphones will be the result of a collaboration with Samuel Ross of A-Cold-Wall fame. Ross has recently joined Beats as a “principal design consultant,” leading us to anticipate a visually appealing offering. From the information available, it appears that the design of the Beats Studio Pro will closely resemble that of its predecessor, the Beats Studio3. Nevertheless, Apple is expected to introduce notable upgrades to enhance the overall user experience.
Among the rumored improvements are an updated Apple-designed chip, advanced Active Noise Cancellation capabilities, and the addition of a Transparency Mode. Additionally, Apple aims to incorporate “Hey Siri” support, a feature absent from the current Studio3 model, further augmenting the convenience and functionality of the headphones.
