The Apple Aluminum Keyboard is a pointing device designed, manufactured, and sold by Apple from 2009 to 2010 as part of the Apple Keyboard series. The Keyboard was introduced on March 3, 2009, and its price started at $49.
This Keyboard was introduced alongside new iMac Early 2009 computers and was a new version of a wired keyboard added to the bundle instead of an Apple Keyboard with a Numeric Keypad.
The full keyboard with a numeric pad remained available as a build-to-order option for an extra charge, and could also be purchased separately. The Aluminum Keyboard is exactly the same as the Apple Wireless Aluminum Keyboard, but that one is wired and needs a USB connection to the Mac.
The product has been discontinued on December 2, 2010. Today Apple Aluminum Keyboard is 15 years old!
